The Market Is An Outsiders Game
You always hear talk about how it’s the Wall Street Insiders that are making all of the money.
And while it all looks flashy and nice on the outside it’s really nothing more than a house of cards. We clearly saw the evidence of this during the market crash of 2008.
You see most insiders are nothing more than licensed con men whose fast and loose life style begins with a bang and ends with a thud. Most insiders are nothing more than liars and cheats.
The real market wizards are not insiders at all. The ones who have been able to amass billions of dollars and keep it are really outsiders.
You see “insiders” can only do one thing to be successful for a short period of time. Do you know what that is?
Manipulation…
They manipulate a stock by artifically inflating the price of the stock while all the while the unsuspecting investor is on the losing end. Sure they make millions, but 9 times out of 10 they give it all back.
That is why the crash of 2008 happened. It was a huge market manipulation on a grand scale. Some of the biggest insiders were involved, including the governments of the world.
The outsiders on the other hand made big money during 2008, while the insiders had the whistle blown on them and lost billions of dollars.
The truth is that this game of manipulation doesn’t matter to the outsiders. Sure some of them trade volume so large that it can literally move the stock or future market, but they are doing it because they are following the trend and not to manipulae the market.
Do you know guys like George Soros actually made 10 Billion dollars in 2008, while the average investor lost 30-40% of their portfolio. Something is wrong with that picture.
Our Advent Forex system actually made 91.1% compounded since January of 2008.
Hard to believe?
Well let me share the outsiders secret with you so that you don’t think I am looney. It’s real simple. Are you ready?
WE DON’T TRY TO CONTROL THE MARKET
Alright to understand that statement you first have to understand the very core foundation of the market. What makes up the market?
PEOPLE
That’s right…the market is made up of people. Most new traders can’t see this. They think the market is some living breathing super computer floating in space somewhere… but the reality is that the market is people.
Now there is one thing that all peeople have in common. Do you know what that is? Human nature…and as far as I can tell human nature hasn’t changed for thousands of years.
Do you know what that means? It’s predicatble. That’s right. If human nature hasn’t changed for thousands of years then there are repetitive patterns that will show up if you look long enough.
The key to the success and longevity of the outsiders is understanding that you can’t manipulate and control human nature for very long. That is what the insiders miscalcualted and that is why the house of cards came crashing down in 2008 and it isn’t over yet.
Outsiders who have been successful for long periods of time, don’t try to manipulate the market, they simply try to follow the repetative behavior patterns that the market gives.
The two greatest negative emotions that a human experiences is fear and greed. These two emotions give us predictable patterns on a price chart. When either emotion has reached a tipping point within the market there are usually tell tale signs that something very bad is about to happen.
This is when the outsiders capitalize and reap the rewards. Do you know what to look for in order to capitalize on these moments in time?
If not be on the lookout for an invitation to my monthly members only webinar, where I will show you some simple patterns that you can use to take advantage of these kinds of setups.
Until next time, good trading
